Snog, the Southern Elephant Seal Facts:

• Is the largest of all seals, and probably the ugliest!
• Breeds on land but spends his winters in the Antarctic waters.
• Males take 40–50 females as mates and are very territorial and fight other males for the females and the territory. That would be exhausting!
• Can dive over 1,500 meters (4,921ft) deep and be underwater for up to two hours. Wow!
