Nars the Narwhale

Nars the Narwhale Facts:

• Can live up to 50 years old. Is that older or younger than your grandparents?
• Feeds on Arctic cod, squid, flatfish and shrimp. Yum, Yum!
• Hunts at depths of 1500 meters (5000 ft). That’s 30 laps of the Olympic pool.
• Has a front tusk, or canine tooth, which can grow to 2.4 meters (8ft), and is used as a weapon by the males in battles fighting over females.
