Lug, the Beluga Whale

Lug, the Beluga Whale Facts:

• Is all-white and has no dorsal fin on its back like other whales. Looks a bit funny, don’t you think?
• Can see in and out of water, but hearing is its best sense.
• Very vocal with high-pitched squeaks, squeals, clicks and whistles
• Can change the shape of its head by blowing air around its nose. Known as a melon, it sends out signals so it knows where the air holes in the ice sheets are so it can breathe.
