Hakima, the Hippopotamus Facts:

• Is the third largest land mammal  - weighs 1.5–3 ton
• Their closest living relatives are cetaceans  (whales, porpoises, etc.). Hippos don't really look like whales, do they?
• One of the most aggressive creatures in the world so stay away!
• Hippos keep cool in the water or in mud, where they spend up to 16 hours per day.
